Making a Change: Systemic Racism and Unconscious Bias with Dr. Shannon Prince
“Privilege isn’t, I have all the money in the world where I can go to the store and buy all the toys that I want. Privilege is that I would have to think about how to navigate situations differently if I weren’t white.”
In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Shannon Joyce Prince, a lawyer, legal committee leader, and author. Dr. Prince has earned her doctorate in African and African American Studies, a law degree from Yale Law School, a master’s in English from Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
During this episode, Shannon shares her experience as a lawyer and community advocate for minority groups to provide you with tools to advocate for the changes you want and inducing systemic world transformation in the world at the level you are.
